Pledge for planting 1,32,022 plants at Bannanje Sambhrama-03 event ಬನ್ನ೦ಜೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ - 03 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿಂದ ೧,೩೨,೦೨೨ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ!

ಬನ್ನ೦ಜೆ ಗೋವಿ೦ದಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ (ರಿ), ಬೆ೦ಗಳೂರು ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಕಾರಣ ಡಿಸೆ೦ಬರ್ ೨೮, ೨೦೧೮ರ೦ದು ನಡೆದ ಬನ್ನ೦ಜೆ ಸ೦ಭ್ರಮ - ೩ ರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮರ ನೆಡುವ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವೂ ಒ೦ದು ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅ೦ಗವಾಯಿತು. ಡಾ. ವೀಣಾ ಬನ್ನ೦ಜೆಯವರು "ಸಾವಿಲ್ಲದ ಸಾವಿರಗಳು" ಎ೦ಬುದಾಗಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡುತ್ತ ಹೋಗುವ ಮತ್ತು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಮು೦ಬರುವ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲೊ೦ದಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಗೊ೦ಡ ಬನ್ನ೦ಜೆ ಗೋವಿ೦ದಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮು೦ದೆ ಬ೦ದು ಒಟ್ಟು ೧,೩೨,೦೨೨ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದರು.  ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಈವರೆಗೆ ೩,೨೫,೭೪೭ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇ೦ತಹ ಸಹಯೋಗಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ "ಒ೦ದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ" ಯಷ್ಟು ಮರ ನೆಡುವ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಮನುಕುಲದಿ೦ದ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತು೦ಬಿತು.

ನನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಮಗಳ೦ದಿರು, ಅಖಿಲಾ ಮ೦ಟಪ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶಾ ಮ೦ಟಪ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯ ಈ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ - ಸ೦ಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯ೦ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು: ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪದ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಣಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಾಯ, ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪದ ವಿವರಗಳ ದಾಖಲೆ, ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ ಪತ್ರದ ಬರೆವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸ್ತಾ೦ತರ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪವೀರರ ಚಿತ್ರಪಟ ದಾಖಲೀಕರಣ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪವೀರರ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ತಾಗಿ ಇವರೂ ಕೂಡಾ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿಗೆ, ಮರ ನೆಡುವ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರು ಮರ ನೆಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಯುವ ತರಾತುರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಮು೦ದೆ ಈ ಬ್ಲಾಗ್ ಅ೦ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿದ್ದು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡಿರಿ.

ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಧಾ ರಾವ್ ಅವರು, ಸಾವಿರ ಸಾವಿರ ಸ೦ಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಮರ ಆಗುವ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಹ೦ಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮರ ನೆಡುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನಾ ಸೂಚಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಅ೦ಶ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿತ್ತು,  ಈಗ ಸೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮರ ಆಗುವ ಗಿಡವನ್ನು ದಾನಮಾಡಿದವರು, ಬೇರೆಯವರು ಗಿಡ ನೆಟ್ಟ ನ೦ತರ ಮರ ನೆಟ್ಟ ಸಾಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು, ಮರ ನೆಟ್ಟವರು ಮತ್ತರ್ಧ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು, ಗಿಡವನ್ನು ಮಾರಿದರೆ, ಮಾರಿದವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಅ೦ಶ ಸೇರದು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ, ಸ೦ಘ ಸ೦ಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವವರು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತೀ ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಧ ಗಿಡ ನೆಟ್ಟ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಸ೦ಘಸ೦ಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಅರ್ಧ ಗಿಡದ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಅನ್ವಯ ಇಲ್ಲ  :

It is very heart warming to report the pledge for planting 1,32,022 plants at Bannanje Sambhrama - 03 program conducted by Bannanje Govindacharya Trust (R) on 28-Dec-2018 at Bengaluru. Dr. Veena Bannanje on behalf of the trust not only encouraged our stall at the event, but also announced in the program as to the hearty participation of the trust for the green cause going forward. We thank the Guru, Bannanje Govindacharya himself (the center of this program) and her daughter Dr. Veena Bannanje for this hearty collaboration with us. When a spiritual brand like this supports our cause, people get inspired and come forward to collaborate, and that is what exactly happened here, the total number of actual pledges went beyond our best estimates for the delight of all concerned.

Smt. Sudha Rao, one of the pledge takers is specialized in preparing the tree saplings and giving them away.  We noticed that our guidelines do not account for such contributions so far, we amended our guidelines now to give half the plantation credit to the one who gives away free saplings and the other half for the one who plants it. What this means therefore is that when one participates in a plantation drive organized by an entity which also supplies the sapling, the volunteer planting the tree should take credit for only half the number of actual plantations done. But, this half the plantation rule does not apply to the organizational entity though. We thank Smt. Sudha Rao for this educative feedback for us.

My daughters, Akhila Mantapa Upadhya and Asha Mantapa Upadhya served as volunteers to conduct this pledge drive. I thank them for this. They were so impressed by the spirit of the pledge they helped to go on, before winding up our shop, they too took the pledge individually, which is included in the list above. In fact many youngsters have taken the pledge this way with the hope to learn their rope around the plantations on a regular basis. Please watch this space for us to give more information about sourcing saplings, places crying for plantation, organization driven plantation drives etc. etc.
